Reverend Gus Al-Khal
Pastor Gus was born in Syria in 1960 and immigrated to the United States in 1978. He began his work in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1982 when he founded Everlasting Life Ministries Inc. (E.L.M.). With E.L.M., Pastor Gus spent the next 16 years feeding inner city Allentown both physically and spiritually. In 1999 he began Arabic Living Church in Bethlehem and in 2002 began New Bethany E.C. Church. Pastor has spent the past 3 decades dedicated to Christ and His missions in the Lehigh Valley. Read Pastor Gus' full Biography Here.
Nilda Santiago
Nilda Santiago serves as the secretary of New Bethany and also as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. She is the first face you will see when walking in the door and is responsible for the everyday functions of the church. Nilda has faithfully attended New Bethany for more than 10 years alongside her children and husband and continues to support and participate in the events of the church.
Donald Cook
Don Cook is one of the original founders of New Bethany E.C. Church. Don has been alongside Pastor Gus and his Ministries for over 30 years and has been and integral part of the function of both New Bethany and Everlasting Life Ministries. Don serves as a laydelegate on the Board of Directors of the church. He has been a faithful member of the Evangelical Congregational Church since 1964 and continues to serve the church.
